The 2025 NFL Draft is 3.5 weeks away, as free agency has slowed to a halt.

Our NFL Mock Draft 2.0

No 1st-Round trades have occurred to date, but that will change before too long.

Here’s our second mock draft of the cycle, focusing on Round 1.

“Best player available” and team need were equitably balanced for this exercise, and no trades were utilized.

1. Tennessee Titans

Cam Ward (QB) | Miami

Each day that passes, Ward to the Titans feels more like a no-brainer.

2. Cleveland Browns

Shedeur Sanders (QB) | Colorado

Entertaining Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter is more than reasonable at this spot, but are we really supposed to believe that the Browns will roll with Kenny Pickett at quarterback this season? The clues suggest Sanders.

3. New York Giants

Travis Hunter (CB) | Colorado

The Giants will scoop a quarterback like Jaxson Dart or Jalen Milroe on Day No. 2 of the draft, but on Thursday night, they won’t overthink things and will take a man with Hall of Fame upside — Hunter.

4. New England Patriots

Abdul Carter (EDGE) | Penn State

The Patriots need offense in this draft more than they need defensive personnel. In fact, they’d be wise to trade down from this spot. However, Carter can’t fall any further, so he’s the pick at No. 4.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham (DT) | Michigan

A sheer best player available pick, Liam Coen adds a defensive piece in his first draft, and Graham will hold down the innards of the Jaguars’ defensive line for the next five years.

6. Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty (RB) | Boise State

Jeanty is just too irresistible here after the NFL world watched as the Philadelphia Eagles won a Super Bowl with Saquon Barkley. RB importance is back.

7. New York Jets

Will Campbell (OT) | LSU

The Jets ranked 23rd per pass-block win rate and 29th in run-block win rate, so they fix the trenches with this monster from LSU.

8. Carolina Panthers

Jalon Walker (EDGE) | Georgia

Elderly Jadeveon Clowney and D.J. Wonnum are the Panthers’ current EDGE rushers. A defender like Walker is a no-brainer here.

9. New Orleans Saints

Will Johnson (CB) | Michigan

Paulson Adebo is gone, and Will Johnson is in. Along with Kool-Aid McKinstry, the Saints CB room is on lock for at least the next four years.

10. Chicago Bears

Mykel Williams (EDGE) | Georgia

Most mock drafters select an offensive tackle for the Bears, but what’s wrong with Darnell Wright and Braxton Jones? EDGE is a more pressing roster need.

11. San Francisco 49ers

Shemar Stewart (EDGE) | Texas A&M

Yetur Gross-Matos would be the other EDGE after Nick Bosa on the 2025 depth chart, so Stewart will seamlessly take the spot.

12. Dallas Cowboys

Tetairoa McMillan (WR) | Arizona

Dak Prescott will have fun on Sundays with CeeDee Lamb and Tetairoa McMillan.

13. Miami Dolphins

Armand Membou (OT) | Missouri
Miami ranked 28th per pass-block win rate; the trenches are the obvious selection for the Dolphins, and Membou will do the trick.

14. Indianapolis Colts

Tyler Warren (TE) | Penn State

This might be the most obvious draft pick thus far, totally building out the Colts’ offense with the best TE prospect in the draft.

15. Atlanta Falcons

Mike Green (EDGE) | Marshall

The Falcons should’ve drafted Dallas Turner last year and get it right this go-round with Green from Marshall. It will be astonishing if Atlanta does not choose an EDGE this time. They just have to.

16. Arizona Cardinals

Kenneth Grant (DT) | Michigan

With many elite EDGE talents off the boars, the Cardinals must roll with Baron Browning and Josh Sweat. However, Grant will pair with Dalvin Tomlinson in the middle of the defensive line to wreak havoc.

17. Cincinnati Bengals

James Pearce Jr. (EDGE) | Tennessee

Trey Hendrickson out via trade — we think. The Bengals will need a replacement. That’s Pearce Jr. on this board.

18. Seattle Seahawks

Tyler Booker (iOL) | Alabama

Wide receiver is a tempting need here, and Emeka Egbuka could be the selection, but let’s roll with Booker from Alabama to solidify the offensive line’s interior.

19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Jihaad Cambpell (ILB) | Alabama

Campbell just feels like a “Buccaneers pick” for some reason, and he’ll replace Lavonte David.

20. Denver Broncos

Colston Loveland (TE) | Michigan

Similar to the Colts’ choice with Warren, the Broncos can’t resist Loveland to grant Bo Nix another weapon.

21. Pittsburgh Steelers

Walter Nolen (DT) | Ole Miss

Pittsburgh will look around the board for best defensive player available — a very Steelers thing — and that man will be Nolen.

22. Los Angeles Chargers

Jahdae Barron (CB) | Texas

With both glorious tight ends off the board, the Chargers select the “other” sweet corner after Hunter and Johnson but before the Packers and Vikings, two CB-hungry teams, pounce on Barron.

23. Green Bay Packers

Kelvin Banks (OT) | Texas

Banks wasn’t supposed to fall this far, but because of the run on EDGEs, the Packers get a fantastic value in the Texas product.

24. Minnesota Vikings

Derrick Harmon (DT) | Oregon

Minnesota hasn’t employed an impactful three-technique DT since Kevin Williams — 12 years ago. It’s time, and Harmon is a scheme fit for Brian Flores.

25. Houston Texans

Emeka Egbuka (WR) | Ohio State

Tank Dell won’t play in 2025, but Egbuka will, and C.J. Stroud will be rather happy about this selection.

26. Los Angeles Rams

Nick Emmanwori (S) | South Carolina

At No. 26, this will be a BPA pick, and Emmanwori is that — a freakishly enticing version.

27. Baltimore Ravens

Grey Zabel (iOL) | North Dakota State

Patrick Mekari left the Ravens for the Jaguars, and the Ravens will need a switcharoo. Zabel is about as versatile as it gets for a premium rookie lineman.

28. Detroit Lions

Donovan Ezeiruaku (EDGE) | Boston College

Last year, the Lions lacked a serious pass rush when Aidan Hutchinson was lost for the season, instead relying on veterans like Za’Darius Smith. Ezeiruaku is a decent consolation prize after the other EDGEs left the board.

29. Washington Commanders

Nic Scourton (EDGE) | Texas A&M

The Commanders need some EDGE love and find it in Scourton. Dorrance Armstrong and Clelin Ferrell is not a competent EDGE tandem for a team that just reached the NFC title game.

30. Buffalo Bills

Matthew Golden (WR) | Texas

Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, and Matthew Golden turn the Bills’ WR corps from doom when Stefon Diggs left — to bliss.

31. Kansas City Chiefs

Donovan Jackson (iOL) | Ohio State

Out? Joe Thuney — an expensive, aging veteran. In? Donovan Jackson — an affordable rookie.

32. Philadelphia Eagles

Malaki Starks (S) | Georgia

The only caption needed? Starks went to Georgia, and Howie Roseman collects those alumni like baseball cards.
